Situated within the beautiful hills of North Wales on the outskirts of the small village of Berthengam it overlooks the River Dee Estuary to the Wirral beyond. This cottage consists of one double bedroom with a Super King bed that can be separated into two single beds on request, a small living room with a large two seater sofa, coffee table and Smart TV located upstairs.
On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a table that seats two people and a Smart TV. It also has a modern bathroom which has a shower enclosure, sink and toilet. The Kitchen is well equipped with a breakfast bar, Fridge with small freezer compartment, induction Hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
Bed Linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking.
Outside the cottage there is a coffee table, two chairs, and a BBQ. Off road parking is allocated to the front of your cottage.
Our cottages are a perfect place to stay for a relaxing break and for walkers and cyclists (cycle store available) We are in an ideal location just 10-minute drive from Talacre and the coastal town of Prestatyn with a great choice of independent shops and places to eat and drink along with a shopping park. There is also a five mile stretch of a sandy beach and an indoor swimming pool and children’s leisure facility is located on the beachfront in the coastal town of Prestatyn. With the A55 just a 5-10-minute drive it is easy to visit The Historic towns of Chester, Llandudno and Conwy all within a 30-minute drive and Snowdonia National Park and Betws Y Coed are only an hour’s drive away with the many activities they offer. There are cycle routes and places to walk such as the Offa’s Dyke, Clwydian Range, North Wales coastal path and a choice of Links and Heathland golf courses are nearby as well as Gyrn Castle fishery which is just a 5-minute drive away.

Booked the cottage as accommodation during our house move. As advertised this development is brand new and stunningly beautifully presented and fully equipped with everything needed and more. A true and totally luxurious home from home we did not want to leave in lovely countryside surroundings. Also, an exceptionally welcoming and warm owner (Michelle) who even goes to the lengths of personally baking a cake for arriving guests to feast on throughout the stay. Simply cannot fault this and we will make this our regular base whenever we are visiting the area. Fabulous!
This cottage is simply wonderful! Having recently been completed the whole ambience, quality and attention to detail is great, feeling very comfortable, cosy and a real home from home. The end result is a real credit to the owners.The welcome was very friendly with some essentials provided and some wonderful cakes which were delicious and very much appreciated! The location is good, very convenient for travelling around and lots of places to visit and/or eat at within easy drive. Lovely beaches one way, lush green forest walking trails another way - the best of both worlds. People were very friendly wherever we went and we enjoyed some lovely walks, food, drinks and relaxation. We hope to visit again soon and would not hesitate to recommend this property.
